The question that most people ask is “Why” or “What”. Why did God create the earth? Why did God create us? What is the purpose of creation? What is my purpose in life, or what is God’s will for me? Today, looking at the Genesis account of creation and various scripture passages we’ll be unpacking the purpose of creation.
Giving thanks is not simply a response to fortunate circumstances but it is an act of faith. It is recognizing that God is faithfully working in every situation of our lives. In today’s text, there were 10 people who encountered the same life-changing miracle, but only one of them came back to thank Jesus. We pray to be a people who always recognize God’s work and give Him thanks.

So, much so that many times we become too busy for Christ. All the busyness tends to distract us from Christ that we neglect the necessity of being with Him. Today we look at a very familiar passage in the Bible about two sisters and Jesus that speaks on this issue. My goal today is not to teach something new, but to simply remind us and hopefully encourage us to not neglect Jesus Christ in all our busyness of life and service.
