Today, we talk about spiritual housecleaning.  A home that is clean and orderly makes a better environment for nurture and growth.  In the same way, we want to make sure that our lives are in order and devoid of any bad habits and sins that can ruin our lives.  We glean from the story of Jesus cleaning the temple claiming that it shall be called a house of prayer—we pray to be the dwelling place (a house) for God.
