Pauls’ abrupt insertion of importance of love while discussing spiritual gifts deserves our attention. For a church culture that was so obsessed with comparing and flaunting their gifts, Paul had to remind them that without love, none of what they were doing amounted to anything. Through today’s sermon, we want to understand the preeminence of love in ministering to others.
