It’s quite remarkable to see the transformation in Moses’ life; he’d gone from being an insecure runaway to a fearless leader of Israel.  His journey of experiencing God time after time has led Him to one of the most powerful confessions in all of human history.  His confession, “if your presence does not go with us, do not lead us up from here,” testifies to not only his maturity but a total dependence on God that leads to radical way of life in/through Him.  We pray to be a people of the Presence whereby Him being with us, there isn’t anything that we could not or would not do.
