The essence of the Gospel is Immanuel, 'God with us'.  The Bible's main narrative is that God is passionate about being with His people.  God was with man since the very beginning and He always pursued to be intimate with mankind.  It is also this claim that seals the fate and the identity of Israel as a nation.  In Exodus 25, God suggests for the first time that He is going to dwell among men, and that Israel were to prepare a sanctuary for Him.  God's desire for such intimacy is still true and strong today, and He commands that He dwells in us as we in Him.  Today, we want to be sure that we are committed to this "with God" life.
