Why The Leper

After a powerful encounter with God, Moses finally returns to Egypt. The land which he fled in shame as a murderer, he now returns as the deliverer of Israel. He is on a very difficult mission of convincing the king of the most powerful nation in the world at that time. Today, we associate ourselves not only to God’s people (the Hebrews), but we see how obstinate and blind we can be just like Pharaoh was. As God used the plagues to reveal Pharaoh’s heart, God reminds and challenges us to remove anything that stands in the way of our worship unto Him.
