Holy Spirit Pt. 2 - The Day of Pentecost

Following last week’s sermon on the significance/impact of the Holy Spirit, we will see exactly how the filling with the Holy Spirit took place. (Jesus promised that there would be power upon receiving the Holy Spirit.) When the Holy Spirit came on the day of Pentecost, it resulted in everything that Jesus said that the Spirit would do (in His place)—He’d bringing about conviction that leads to repentance; the disciples replicating Jesus’ ministry such as healing, deliverance, and encouragement. We will also look at how we (one) can experience the Holy Spirit.
